Rotating heads?!

Just been revisiting the excellent Junkers 87B Stuka by SopwithC, Wolfi and Kelticheart. (Junkers 87 B for CFS 2 Original FS9/FSX Model by Giovanni Quai converted ( with permission) for CFS 2 by SopwithC). It's a great model with a nice selection of textures - but, absurdly, the pilot and gunner's heads revolve endlessly like radar antennae. I don't mind crew operating their equipment, opening the canopy or even waving - but the 360 degree head turns are a bit too much - even for the Luftwaffe elite. Does anybody know how to stop this behaviour?

Basically, not without rebuilding the model, probably with GMAX. Parts are tagged with a type of motion and the actions of that motion, before compiling the model. Those functions sometimes do not convert properly along with the physical model's conversion.

Maybe it could be done with SCASM editing? The only wizard I know of who could even attempt that would be MAV. And even then, changing the model should require Giovanni Quai's permission.

I made a new MDL for my Stuka without head animation !

Luckylie, I moved from Hamburg into my Hometown Leer, so I found things, I never thought they are still there. In this case an old hard drive with my old Projects on it.

Just replace the MDL file in the “model” folder, make sure, that the replaced MDL file has the same “name” as the old one.
