RTWR 2018 Practice Round 1

Is fs default wx even legal ? last I hear jeppeson wasn't providing wx updates to fs anymore.

Looks like I have some terrain issues, ran the route another 4 times after the CTD last night and FS9 crashed at the same place each time. After removing all my addon scenery except the LOD7 world mesh, crashing persists so that'll get removed tonight. Anyone else seen this crash with Rhumba's LOD7 mesh ?
 
I will give it an unofficial test run to see what I get.

I used to get that with a mesh I have installed in the Vancouver Island area. I had a mesh conflict with another product that gave and even greater resolution. I can't remember the details.
 
Just curious, should I not be making W -> E practice legs?
I don't want to do things "wrong". I want to participate. If that means going E->W with the rest, that's what I'll do.

About 20 minutes out. Had to throttle back a wee bit to make sure I have enough gas.
