Runway appearances; far too clean!

Having just watched 'Cold Blue', our runways are far too clean! In fact they were either camouflaged or very dirty with black marks all over!
 
Someone made camo for the runways...... But not all were I think. Yes tire marks would make them more realistic but who is going to do all that work. The grass ones need ruts and also tire tracks.....

There have been various experiments over the years, Kenley in the ETO install is camouflaged, the one below is in BoB and made from GE images. The second image is Northolt.
Dan, Kevboy, Joost and myself have played with runway 'tiles' with some success but there are problems with image flickering or shadows which tend to spoil it. Still on the to do list though!

That last picture is great. Closest to what I remember from having to cross runways. The ends are always dirtier than the centers. Most modern runways have periodic scheduled maintenance to remove the rubber from the ends of the runway.
 
Are any of these standard runways, if so, let me know and I will replace all my pristine ones. I assume we are talking about the dds tilesor what? Your pics are all specific ACC runways I think.
