First things first:

I'd like to say "Thanks!" to Paul, Jim, Rob, Willy, Mike, and Kevin for setting this playground up for all of us to enjoy.

Once again making Miss Nellie proud I'm sure .... "Tip-O-The-Hat" Gents!

Now let's get all packed up for what could be a long ride trying to get after the knucklehead that stole my Warhawk.

Running Real-WX in FS9 (with updates) .... sorting out a plan and will post departure shortly.

Cheers All!

uh, oh ... I hope everybody knows that there's a USAAF pilot in this crate .... :kilroy:

Did a considerable amount of testing w/o any wind, but not enough (it appears) with wind.

Lucky to have it at my back so far ...

This bucket of bolts is all over the place at CA ... No barf bag needed with an open cockpit I guess.

Also looks like Could be troubled and challenged a bit with range if the winds aren't cooperative on these longer legs further up the pike .... Oh Boy!! :encouragement:

Relatively low CA lead me around the terrain on Bougainville Island rather than straight across (Direct).

The maps that are available here show peaks of 4600' .... this is what they looked like at almost 10,000' sliding along the west side coastline.

Clouds were too thick to risk it .... one crash is enough for me.

Open water under me let me run full throttle on descent .... made up any time I lost dodging the ridgeline.
