Savoia S-21 of Porco Rosso

YoYo

SOH-CM-2023
Hi lagaffe :wavey:,
any news about progress? So far so good?

Then, I think that I have to finish quickly my Savoia S-21 of Porco Rosso to fly with this one :encouragement:

Sorry Yoyo but after working intensively on the Canso, I took two months off from Blender and MSFS to take a break.
This development of Canso on MSFS has been a 6 month project without interruptions and I needed to get motivated again.

So after a few weeks of calm and with the heat wave in France, it's almost an obligation, I started to do some modelling on some pending projects that I started and put on hold due to lack of informations or technical means.

Thus, I have in my hard disk:
- a Canadair CL215T (exterior and interior) which I will realize for X-Plane 12
First-Test.jpg

- a Beaver DHC-2 (exterior and interior) for MSFS (a FSX portover but in native)
Wireframe-2022-08-09.jpg

- a Menestrel HN-700 (exterior and interior) for MSFS
Les-Mureaux-Passage-bas.jpg

- a Dewoitine D-551 (exterior and interior) for MSFS
D551-Exterieur.jpg

- a Twin Bonanza used by Jacque Brel (exterior model only) for MSFS
Twin-Bonanza-Blender-2020-06-04.jpg

- a P-51 Racer "Galloping Ghost" (exterior only) for MSFS

- a Lavotchkine La-5 (exterior and interior) for MSFS
- a Sepecat Jaguar (exterior model only)
- a Mig 29 Fulcrum (exterior model only)
- a Sukhoi SU-33 (exterior model only)

But I haven't given up on Savoia, I'm going to take it back in the next few days : Porco Rosso has been entirely modelized in 3D.

Excelent! Im waiting for red plane, its on my top list :biggrin-new:, however the rest looks interesting too :very_drunk:. You can leave DHC-2, it will be for free at 11.11 update.

If I believe what I have read, the DHC-2 model provided for free by Microsoft/Asobo and developed by Milviz will be a basic no-frills version.
Milviz had to do the bare minimum to be able to sell an aircraft and did not want to invest too much time and resources in this model.

The one I would like to make will be a rather special model, the one you see in the Disney movie "Never cry Wolf" and have a damage mod like my old Tibush C-150.

Hi lagaffe, here you have another one longing for a Savoia S-21 in MSFS!! :jump:

This is the 16.5" wooden model sitting on my shelf:

On the other hand, of course, a good old weathered, rusty DHC-2 Beaver wouldn't be bad either...

Model will be very good, like payware quality, but agree not all version, just wheeled and on floats, so no Tundra tires and no ski.
