This is a blast from the past originally done by ChrisN... it was converted in 2004, before the mdlc190 came out... so the g_lightstates were still present.





Well.... 21 yrs later and a little scasm editing... and it's like brand new ... secondhand.... added Lods, animated rudder... in VC animated yoke straightened peddles and added gunsight... think that was it!?
 
Appears to be a blend of Spitfire and Bf 109? The wings? and that's not a canopy I've ever seen on a 109.
Am I missing something of this sim model history?

This is the converted AH_Schmittfire for CFS2. - reworked panel.bmp for better gunsight. - dp with 3 cannons and 6 machine guns. - reworked airfile and aircraft.cfg - CFS2 crashes to desktop using the ac as ai. Textures and sound not included...

Got me hooked ! Now to get it installed. Haven't had much time. Been stuck on CFS3 with the new Ankor's shaders. This looks great ! Still have OFF BHaH/HitR(2008) that i play. But this looks like more fun than it ! Get to it old man ! Lol ! Will find the time. Forgot so much with CFS2 ! Maybe will need help soon !
 
Will start work this weekend. Have tons of WW I aircraft, and scenery too. Can't wait to get started. It's like a new toy. Running win 7 and forgot all things. Even forgot how to make a screenshot in Win 7 ! i'd loose my head if it wasn't attached ! Lol ! Been with CFS3 for so very long. Installed CFS2 and have it running well. So smooth and the aircraft look so good ! Suffer with mental illness from the Navy back in the early 80's.
 
What if the French CV Bearn hadn't stopped in the Caribbean & continued to cross the Atlantic, maybe to Dakar?

Would the Vichy regime have made some use of the Belgian B-339B Buffalos she was carrying...

Did these nearly 20 yrs ago.... only to find AH did update the mdls... realising after huub done a couple of paints.
