Should be available for download in the next two days. Final checks in progress. I have seen two version in images. One with unit numbers on the vertical stabilizer. The other without. Any preference?

I think I'd put them on there. Your paint looks great and do you remove the dirt layers from the paint kit and are you using Photoshop?

Hollister, thanks for the input and fonts. Seeing with and without as shown on the real aircraft, I think I will include the option to fly with or without the unit numbers. The pilots choice. Here are images from the real aircraft.\

I removed some of the dirt layer from selected parts of the paint kit for a more realistic effect and yes I use Photoshop.

I see that and are those recent restored paint jobs? Kind of looks like it and they don't always get it right.

Tom, the reason why the restored F-86 'Hell-er Bust' doesn't have the tail serial number applied in some photos is because when the paint scheme was first applied on the restored aircraft in 2012, they didn't get around yet to adding the serial number on the tail until a few years later (2015). So all of the photos of the aircraft prior to 2015 show it without the serial number, and all photos since 2015 of course show it as it has looked ever since then with the serial number applied. Also, since 2015, the blue band on the top of the tail extends all the way forward to the leading edge of the tail fin (as your second photo shows). https://flickr.com/search/?text=F-86+hell+er+bust&sort=date-taken-desc

Really appreciate the comments John. I hadn't picked up on the color of the band being dark blue. I have made that change. My question now is with the band being blue, the squares are most likely the same color. I need some guidance here. The images here show the band and squares being dark blue. I used the same color as the blue roundel. Help.

The tail checkerboard/squares are black, while the band around the tail is insignia blue. For the last few weeks I've been working on/off on a repaint of the restored 'Hell-er Bust X' F-86, but so-far I've mostly only gotten as far as recreating The Horsemen aerobatic team logos for the nose gear doors.
