Good mornings friends,
can some on point me to one of the helicopters mentionned above with the colors of the german
army (Heeresflieger) or german air force (Luftwaffe) or navy (Bundesmarine)
A repaint of Willy Verwaecke's HSS-1 would be the finest, but others will be fine also

Best regards

Michael

Good evening Vinci,
thank you for your reply
Flightsim.com hummmm
I do not know if it is due to the fact that I use still use Windows XP or to what:
The first thing is that since they have changed their site I con no more upload files to them, even if logged in.
And now since some weeks I find no more a possibilitity to search files.
Before their was a "search field" on the top right and now I do not find no more.
I tend more more and more to forget flightsim.com.
It was a big and good site Has been
Concerning repaints for the H-34 and derivates I found on avsim.rus a set of two versions of german navy rescure H-34's.
I also searched if their exists a conversion to piston engined flight model but did not find yet
I converted my self but the chopper flies forward with too much nose down
Thank you for your replay

Best regards

Michael

Thank you for the link at flightsim com

Best regards

Have a nice day

Hey Michael,

Good to hear the link worked. And yes, the sky today is as the screenshot, 23 degrees Celsius and light winds. Perfect flying weather.

Safe landings,

Erik.

In the Marineflieger Offiziersmesse at Kiel Holtenau was a pin on the wall:
Take the choppers down as slowly as your girlfriends slip SLOWLY!!!!!
As same as I like to fly classic or warbirds I love to fly choppers
Weitting the word "chopper" makes me remember a long long time ago;
with a friend with whom we worked on our racing bikes, cross, enduro, race for circuits and endurance,
one day we made the first chopper made in the region of germany where we lived.
The basis was a Kawasaki KH400 (in other countries it was named KZ400). A middle size 4 sroke 2 cylinder engine.
We did not leave a lot of original pieces LOL Also the engine was bored up to 520 ccm.
Oh what a nice time where we could do things impossible today LOL.

Happy Landings

Michael

Salut Alain
Here I prefer to switch over to english
I try to convert the H-34 to a piston engine as it should be.
It flies well but with alot too much nose down when flying forwards.
If it is a chopper I does not know if the trick I use for aircraft will work.
I the aircraft.cfg for fixed wings we can have a [flight_tuning] entry
and by changing the cruise lift scalar it is possible to influence the attitude
of the aircraft - would this work on the helicopter flight model?
or did some one still a good and real conversation?

Best regards

Michael

Hello everyone,

Thank you all for the links!
In fact I am looking for a good HSS1/H34, for FSX rather or FS9, of good quality, with a functional 3D cockpit, and which resembles the real one, since I worked on it in the 70s, at the flotilla 31f! (Ban saint mandrier)
Unfortunately this helicopter did not have the favors of a beautiful modeling for FSX!
There was the Wessex of Simshed, well modeled, (we had one in technical stopover at the 31F) with a few problems since it was made for FS9!
Too bad it was not adapted to FSX!
If you have it for FSX, please tell me!
Sincerely

Alain

Salut Alain,
The Wessex and the H-34 /HSS1 and the ones flown by the french navy are two different helicopters.
The Wessex is turbine powered The original H-34 is powered by a big radial in the nose. Even if both
bodies have the same origin the front end of the Wessex look quiet different. And on my knowledge
the french nevy never had the Wessex in active service (je me trompe peut-être).
For the sim hmmm that changes nothing as all H-34 I know has the flightmodel of the turbine powered
Bell 206 . (non mais - - -)
The Vervaecke HSS1 has a VC, but non functional
I try to convert Vervaeckes HSS1 to piston power but the chopper flies with the nose too much down at cruise speed
Until now I found no way to change that
Sad that no one will put his knowledge onto this interesting ventilator

Best regards

Michael

Hi Michael,
Yes, I know well for working on it, that the H34/HSS and the Wessex are different, especially on the engine!
Simply, the Sihouette was getting closer (and for good reason!) Of that of the H34/HSS!(except the nose!)
And I deplore the absence of this model in FSX.
But now that FSX falls into oblivion, little chance of seeing a very detailed in our simus!
Sincerely

Alain

Bonjour Allain,

some of my panels and aircraft I worked on had been successfully flown also in FSX.
As on my old rig FSX doesn't work I do not have it. I tried tthe demo version and it was more a dia show than flying.
So nada.
Perhaps I will release it soon. As with the flight dynamics I can not go further on and there is no one of the specialists to be interested - - -
I will release it as it is for FS2004 you could try if it works also in FSX Perhaps some gauges will not work. But this can be resolved
As repaints I have one for the Aéronavale and one for the Armé de Terre. Before release I will try to make also a repaint for the german Heeresflieger. The plane lived its finest hours during the the great storm flood at Hamburg and northern germany in 1962.

Je serais bien heureux si tu peux me faire avancer mon Schmilblick

Hello Michael,

Bonne soirée!

Bonsoir Alain,
eh bien ta réponse me facilite bien la vie,
