Skysim DH Sea Vixen

SOH-CM-2022
Just wondering if anyone has managed to get this flying properly in P3D v3.4? I got it to load after a few tries but after a few minutes flying, it crashed the sim.

I have it flying in p3dv4. But! Tailhook and folding wings animations are no longer there. And there are no gauges that are working. So far I only tinkered with the outside model, none of the VC animations is working. I'll see what I can do, but this will take time, lots of time. After all this is really a FS9 model.

It is an AI aircraft by John Young from MAIW. Don't think it is user flyable... Folding animations have been mdl coded and only appear according to flying situations...

Actually: it is flyable. There is a file to make it flyable called 'FSX-DH-SeaVixen-VCupgrade'. But the animations: folding wings and tailhook are missing.

Yes, using some skills it makes it flyable indeed. Got John's great AI-Harrier T4 flyable but essential animations like the rotating nozzles (comparable to the SeaVixens folding wings and tailhook animations) need a lot more of programmed content to make it user controllable.
If one is satisfied with only flying an AI aircraft (and in most cases simple AI aircraft without a lot of visable animations like GA aircraft for example are possible...), you can simply add a VC from another aircraft to it...

I have the outside model of the Skysim Vixen done, with tailhook and folding wings. ModelCoverterX is a great tool! The gauges are not working and that is a problem I cannot solve. Someone else?
