Small Flight

SgtT

SOH-CM-2024
I shared this with the FSX group.

Yesterday I was lucky enough to be invited on a small flight in a Piper Archer II from St. Louis Regional Airport (ALN) East Alton to Litchfield Municipal Airport (3LF) Litchfield IL.

Although it was short flight (15min there and 15min back) I loved every moment of it. In Litchfield we got some gas had a bite to eat and headed back to East Alton. It was a great day to do some slow and low flying.

Nice!

I haven’t been off the ground in decades. I miss it!

I wish you more of those invitations!

Nice one Rob,
A good way to spend a day.

I was flying with a friend on Tuesday. Just an hour flying around SW UK in a PA28 Cherokee, landed back and then had lunch. Great weather and vis. So lucky to be able to do that.

Cheers

Exactly what Mick said. The last time I sat in a Cessna 172 must be at least 20 years ago. Even the last time I sat in a tube-liner is already more than a decade ago.

But goo to hear you had a great time SgtT.

Cheers,
Huub
