I was at the Naval Aviation Museum today, looking through a couple folders, packed with information on the A-7 Corsair. Found this comparison chart, and thought I would share it. Interesting, as it shows the differences between the variants. NC

Lots more info where that came from. Even found copies of correspondence between high-ranking Navy officers, during the process of pre-acquisition of Corsair IIs for the USN. Really interesting stuff! Also, results of initial testing of the aircraft. Even official brochures from LTV. A wealth of info. NC
