• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

there is a BIG race coming up...i mentioned it in another thread,,,im thinking "Bathurst"? 1000km,,,,,or 600 miles?...narrow lil course,,,advertizing 6 hours of racing.....oct 8th i think they said...mike joy and darrel waltrip will be there to call the race for speed tv,which stinks.....maybe mike joy and larry McReynolds.....but waltrip?...he will talk about himself all 6 hours......

anywho...anyone know of anylinks for the series?..id like to learn some names and cars before the race

I'll miss the Phillip Island round this weekend as we decided to stay at Port Douglas after Rally Australia (last weekend at Coffs Harbour) for a couple of weeks, as some time out is needed badly.

Yep...I call the Bathurst race "Annual sit on your arse day" (in front of the TV that is). 6 hours of thrashing the V8 touring cars up, down and around Mt. Panorama in rural New South Wales. Usually the first Sunday each October (our time).
