The broker specialized in warbirds, Platinum Fighter Sales, has discreetly posted online the announcement of the sale of the Curtiss Wright P-36C serial number 38-210, which was flying in recent years in the hands of Stephen Grey and his collection The Fighter Collection in Duxford in the United Kingdom. This iconic fighter jet of the interwar period, built in 1939, represents a rare piece of American aeronautical history. Improved version of the P-36A, the model C was equipped with an engine Pratt & Whitney R-1830-17 of 1 200 horsepower and reinforced armament.
