• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

Thank you, sir. I'll resist the urge to subject you to another floater and put up a modest biplane - lots of clues here......

Hi Carlo:encouragement:
Could this be the Leningradets Sport (1962) by L. Kostin, L. Sekinin and Valery Tatsiturnov from the Leningrad area?

Hi Walter!
That's her the Leningradetz Ленинградец flown in 1962 by Taciturnov Sekirin Kostin. May I add that if you should require additional information on such like russian amateur aircrafts please Google Ленинградец (not Leningradetz) and you will find factual information on further items like "Aist", "Riiga", "Malysh" etc (many sites admit (horrible) Google translation)
Cheers
Your turn of course
Carlo

Hi fabulousfour:encouragement:
Sorry, not Finnish. Country of origin is closer to where you live, just one border to cross.
In the museum she has a (military) green dress.

Hi Carlo:encouragement:
Sorry, not from France.
On most photos she has military colours and the national insigna stronlgly resembles those of my country (or v.v.).
Donot know for sure, but understand she uses the legs of a Bf-108 Taifun.

Thanks Walter - I've always wondered about those Czech and Dutch insignia being so similar......

No surprises - another floater...
