• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

Hello chaps ! On one of my infrequent excursions to the Outhouse - still waiting for components for a rebuild. Turns out a leaky CPU water cooling block was to blame. Ah well.

Moses, that aficionado of 30's airliners, has posted an Arado V.1, methinks.

As I cannot scan at the moment (too much hassle installing drivers for everything on my wee netbook), please someone else carry on !

Have been there and seen that one plenty of times so I'll leave it for someone else.

Thanks, James. Guess it's about halfway between us, but I only visited for the first time last Sunday. More pictures to follow in due course.

I'm sure someone will get this forlorn old bird in the next few hours, if not minutes...

I suspect that when it's named, I'll smack my forehead and think that I should have known it, but darned if it will come to mind.

Wrong track, Naki, right alphabetically !

I am kicking myself for having passed within a mile or two of this location last week - forgot all about it ! :banghead:

It's French and from 1922/23. An earlier, quite extravagant, design from this manufacturer was posted earlier in here.

:)

Fairey Ultralight.

Would have been a great success if market conditions were different. The cheap price of fuel etc meant Bell 47's were practical to operate and the ultrlight wasn't really needed, the idea is streets ahead of the Robinson or Schewizer though.

Pretty much certain here so I'll go ahead.
Another proper aircraft, shouldn't be too difficult.
