• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Tom left the Royal Air Force after many years service. He found time wieghed on his hands and took a job working for a small local transport firm.
Tom's new boss found Tom was an exceptional worker. The quality and quantity of his work was first class. However it appeared Tom could never arrive for work on time. He was late every day!
In the end Tom's boss calls Tom into the Office
"Now Tom" said the boss " Your work is fantastic but I can't help but notice you are always late for work. To be honst it is annoying me and your fellow workers"
"I know sir" replied Tom, "It is a problem but I am working on it"
"Fantastic Tom, thats what I want to hear" His boss said. Then the boss added
"Tom I understand you served in the RAF"
"Yes" replied Tom "I am very proud of my RAF service"
"Rightly so" said the boss " but I believe the RAF have strict rules on time keeping don't they?"
"Yes" said Tom " The RAF depends on accuracy of time keeping"
Continued the boss "What did they say in the RAF when you arrived late for work?"
"Well" said Tom "They usually said "Good Morning Air Vice Marshall!" " :salute:
