Toe brakes?

Hello, first post here so go easy on me!!! Is there a way to map differential toe brakes in the axis command for my rudder pedals? I only see a set brake option there unlike MSFS which has an axis for toe brakes. In fact, what is this set brake? It seems like brakes automatically apply unless I hold down this command, but how does this relate to set brakes?
Thanks!

Hello,
here is what I have in my control config file (in app datas\microsoft\cfs3\) in the pedal device section :

<GameMode Name="Player">
<Axis ID="X" Action="AXIS_LEFT_BRAKE_SET" Scale="65472" Nullzone="36"/>
<Axis ID="Y" Action="AXIS_RIGHT_BRAKE_SET" Scale="65472" Nullzone="36"/>
<Axis ID="Rudder" Action="Set_Yaw" Scale="64" Nullzone="36"/>
</GameMode>

I do not know if this is available ingame. Also, when using joystick and pedal, you will have to switch the device in the drop down in the control settings panel, in order to configure one then the other.

Hope it helps :)

Thanks for the reply! I checked my config and it looks like yours too after having configured my controllers. Just wonder why one can't set an axis for toe brakes like in FS9/X and CFS2. Anyone know of a work around for this?

I may not understand what you mean : this config file is for axis (axises ?), namely toe axis on left and right rudder pedal. Would you like to have an axis for BOTH brakes ?

Well, in the controller config box in the game itself, the only option regarding an axis for brakes is for "set brake" left and also for right. There is no option for "toe brakes" left and right. However, in the config window there is an option for "toe brakes" left and right, but this is only for keyboard command. Am I just missing something here? Not much taxiing involved in the game at all so I guess it doesnt matter.... but still confusing.

Left and right brake allows for differential braking, which helps taxiing. Despite being labelled "set", it appears that the pressure applied is progressive with pedal course.

It may be possible to map some axis to a key with the hardware config tool, and set this key for brake (left and right) ingame. But this would not be progressive.
