Tour of Great Britain Continues - Video

Nice vid!

What scenery package have you got there Bruce?

Glad you liked it!

The scenery is VFR Real Scenery NexGen 3D: England, and the airports are UK2000 Southern England (at least most of them - the ones that UK2000 have not done are updated by the VFR Real Scenery package).

Edit: I should add that the first video - Leg 1 - I was using ORBX England and the Channel Islands custom scenery including the Alderney payware.

It looks very good - particularly the colours.

I fly in the UK 90% of FSX time and with Orbx England - I reckon your VFR Real Scenery looks better.
I have a clutch of UK2000 - the obvious ones; LHR, LGW, EGHI...

Keep the vids coming Bruce - you'll be heading to my neck of the woods pretty soon (Southampton/ Portsmouth way) Even better; plan a stop at Lee-On-Solent EGHF (my home airport for real world flying) - I'd love to see what the VFR Real Scenery looks like for that one.

Yes it does look good and I ended up getting the whole 4 sets - all of England, Wales and Scotland. Sadly the Isle of Man and Northern Ireland are not covered, nor are the Channel Islands.

I am very impressed with the colours and the Auto Gen placement for VFR even though the buildings are generic as can be seen on St Micheal's Mount and other castles around the country. The only thing that made me hesitate is that there are no seasons (not that England really has seasons - says the Canadian part of me! Ha Ha!!). Still compared to the perpetual snow of the ORBX winter in the south of England that is not that big an issue!

Southampton was already on my list of airports for a visit and now Lee-On-Solent is on the list as well! Both are part of my UK2000 package. But it will be a while before I get there as I am travelling the other way around. Next is Wales, then north along the coast, over to the Isle of Man and Northern Ireland, across to the west coast of Scotland and all the way to the furthest islands and back down the east side of the countries. Southampton does not make an appearance until after I tour around Kent. But I hope to get there eventually!

Leg Five Part 1 is up! We have now left Wales and are back in England heading more-or-less North:

Enjoy!:mixed-smiley-010:
