I lost my best friend in Flight Sim today, lol. . .my trusted and much abused TrackIR camera finally gave up the ghost and died (the blue LED is what died actually). So If anyone reading this has a TrackIR4 or 5 and found it not to their liking and would like to sell it please let me know.

Thanks

And the latest ones are wireless. I bought one after Froogle recommended it, unfortunately before the wireless came out but I like it very much, it is much more substantial than the delicate TrackIR, my TIR's legs broke off and Velcro on top of the screen was not the answer. Definately I would endorse the Trackhat, I use the one which uses the clip.

lol, lol that sounds like my rig, lol. Mine also broke off and I eventually rigged up a piece of aluminum (using my limited sheet metal repair expertise) and shaped it into a clip that fit over the top of the monitor and then attached the remaining camera to the front. It was actually positioned better than the original bracket so it's been a real workhorse for me. A shame it finally gave up though.

I have the secret fix - coat hanger wire and masking tape . You need to be a dab hand in wire bending !

edit - Sorry, just re-read the post . Not broken
