Trident

FengZ

Pilot
After flying the Connie around for a few days, i'm now totally addicted to the bigger planes (tho still sticking with steam gauges).

I finally loaded up David Maltby's Trident after reading so much about it. Man, have i been missing out! This aircraft is amazing! One of the best flight deck's i've seen in fact...complete immersion.

It took a while to read the manual and understand all the systems...but she is a pleasure to fly. There's even an old school ILS auto-land feature, which worked flawlessly on my first try into Sydney.

the night lighting on the cockpit is really nice...both in flood and instrument settings...

I understand what you say. It took me a while before I discovered the planes from that guy, and when I loaded them, I was completely AMAZED !
And still you have loaded only the Trident. Wait until you install the Comet and especially the BAC 1-11. This last one is for sure the most impressive. :isadizzy:

I have all of David Maltaby's aircraft and I love them to bits, all those features! I have to say the VC-10 is my fave, especially with the INS Carousel. Think how clean the -10 is compared to modern jetliners.

Absolutely fantastic aircraft, I have them all. Great flightdecks, great models and great textures.

A few more shots of the Trident 2 departing Sydney for Melbourne on a clear Australian day. I'm so in love with this plane right now. Never knew that flying these classic tubeliners could be so much fun! :) I just love the amount of work load that goes into it from starting the engines all the way to the landing...brings another depth to FS9 for me...
