• There seems to be an up tick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Upgrade and Move News and Issues

After selecting Edit Resource I no longer have the option of uploading an amended zip file.
 
Hmmm! I think I am going to have to make a post over the support forums or read the manual. I can't see anyway to change the file. Your account and mine are fully unrestricted when it comes to the resources. I thought it might be who owns the file but that isn't it.

@kdriver Ha I found it. You have to own the file. Then you have to click the "Post an update" button. So if you are going to do it you have to move it back into your profile.

Well done Dave, thanks, When I amended the downloads last night, it must have been before I changed them to their original authors.
 
Yes I noticed I couldn't use Flickr to link an image, so pasted direct but got rejected.
What is the size limit please?

Also: great look and feel to the new forum, congratulations on job very well done!
 
Some of the busiest .png screens at 3840x1600 come in at 16MB+
No sweat to resize under 10MB though, as long as one knows.

Suddenly as of Wednesday, 31st, I can no longer access the website using three of my devices, despite running the latest version of either Firefox or Safari. This leaves me only my iPhone working, which is horrendously small and slow for my use of the site.

Someone has made changes with or without your knowledge. Do you happen to know how to fix this issue, which also happened to a major site in the UK last week ? They are still trying to fix that . . .

Help, please .. . .
 
All links of posts and threads shown in Google Search aren't working anymore due to changed extantions. Rather anoying.

I thought it had been taken down - perhaps next time, make an announcement to warn people the .com is obsolete! I doubt I'm the only one!
 
There was for months at the top of the old forum.
