US/UK Hudson

SOH-CM-2025
Here's a few WiP shots of a Hudson request.
41-23325 was built for the RAF, received the RAF paintscheme and RAF serial, but ended up with the US Army Air Forces...
Too bad the tail textures are mirrored, but there's not much I can do about that I'm afraid..

Jankees,...if I'm not mistaken, the Hudson aircraft is a AlphaSim product. I checked their web sight but couldn't find it either as freeware or payware. Plus checking here at the SOH library collection of AlphaSim aircraft. No luck. Or is it made by someone else other than AlphaSim?

No, it is from Alphasim, but listed under British aircraft.

for FS9 & FSX

Here's an update on the above paint, what he was really after was the aircraft in USAAF colors, but since I'd found a pic in the above colors, I couldn't resist doing that too. But here's what the request was for:

Got it. Much thanks. Also, there's a terrific movie made by James Cagney called "Captains of the Clouds." It came out in 1942. Cagney plays a Canadian bush pilot who ferries Lockheed Hudsons (along with his bush pilot pals) across The Pond to England. Great north woods Canadian scenery with a cast of character actors. I made a video tape of the movie years ago. I'm sure it can be bought as a DVD today.
Here's a Wikipedia link for the movie itself.
