• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Using VR with XP

I have had my WMR Odyssey headset (original model) for quite some time, along with XP. I had scarcely tried XP, and had never used my VR headset with it. That is, not until yesterday. Holy crap! I damn near fell off my chair, plus I got queasy. Neither of those things ever, ever happened before!!

Even if I don’t have vr (yet) I have found that X-Plane has better Eye candy graphics than ms. I have P3D 4.5 loaded with tons of add ons, Orbx, etc yet every time I fly P3D I find myself dissatisfied and find myself back in the X-Plane universe. X-Plane has plenty of problems in and of itself For sure but even then, I enjoy it more than others. I’m not study level type sim guy. I like to get in, throw a few switches and off I go sight seeing.

to each his or hers Their own but X-PLANE still blows my mind. We will see when ms2020 gets here.
