    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

hi guys, which is the way to get the 1920x1200 resolution working?
just reinstalled the IL-2 1946 from dvd to patch it to v. 4.09 (after succesful upgrading to v. 4.08) but forgotten the way I succesfully did before.
now when I open the file conf.ini and change there the resol I get nothing else than the 1600x1200.....
every help welcome!

Go to your conf.ini in 1946 and change it to the following:

width=1440
height=900
ColourBits=32
DepthBits=24
StencilBits=8
ChangeScreenRes=1
FullScreen=1
DrawIfNotFocused=0
EnableResize=0
EnableClose=1
SaveAspect=0
Use3Renders=0

The 1440 x 900 resolution is just an example. Change those numbers to your native monitor resolution.
