'Way To Go Kurt Busch!'

As many times as Jimmie has wrecked you in the past, way to stand your ground today....:applause: (And yes Jimmie, you did turn down on Kurt..)

Nice win by Brad too...& very mature post-race interview by Kyle...

Have to say the Nationwide finish was way better then Pocono's!:icon_lol:

So was the race!

I got bored, went to the local baseball game. Any track over a mile in length does that to me unless it's a road course. I know they say Pocono is l;ike a road course, the key word there is "like". Yawn.

Sour grapes, wrong man won.

Caz

Hey All,

Now what was wrong with that race? :bump:

I do admit though I too find Pocono really boring. Not sure what the solution is though. It is clear though the BIGGEST HAZARD on the track is Juan Pablo Montoya - Jeez - get a clue!

If the 48 doesn't win I'm perfectly happy to see the 2 in victory lane! It's a Dodge and it's Brad. I have said that I think Keselowski has a ton of talent besides being a genuinely nice sincere knowledgeable driver. Maybe you noticed Kyle couldn't get to him could he - Keselowski got the most out of his car just as Kyle was getting the most out of his - it just wasn't enough. I like the Kyle Busch I see now - he is calm, generally well mannered and drives clean. I think not having that "rowdy Busch" attitude takes the edge off him and I am glad it does! We don't want Kyle Busch out there with a Tim Richmond "drive the wheels off er" attitude now do we? Good job Richard Childress!

I was sorry to see the 20 fall back so far and as for Denny well good job with that lug nut chikin Caz! :applause:

Now as for the 48 and the 22. I think Jimmie was wrong - it did look like he came down. I think when Jimmie sees the film he will know it but I have no doubt he was frustrated with how hard Kurt was racing him. That said he didn't wreck the 22. Kurt is not at fault here.

PS Happy 40th Birthday Jeff Gordon!

And the reason why Kyle finished ahead of Harvick is because Kyle has learned - Harvick has not!
Looks like Harvick needs some Richard Childress schooling himself!!! ;)

Uh No Kevin just needs a better car... Meaning he and his CC need to do a better job.

Hey All,

You're absolutely correct!
Kevin needs to focus on developing a championship car and NOT keep complaining about how NASCAR is treating him vs Kyle
;) ;) ;)

Hey All,

Uh No Kevin is not distracted by that kind of stuff at all. He's way above it. Once again you ignore Kevin's history - he stepped into the 3 and has won Daytona and Indy - he isn't that petty. Now Denny well put a little pressure on him and Ford what happens? And Kyle - when it comes to the top level his record speaks for itself - albeit not very loud. He is He!! on wheels against the Junior Varsity though. The Childress cars as a whole just aren't there this year. They will get it straightened out.

-Ed-.

EasyEd,
Obviously, you missed the radio conversations between Harvick & his crew chief a couple of races back ;)

Hey All,

So what? All he said was he needs to be careful around the 18. Why do you think he can't separate that from working towards getting all he can in a race? Makes no sense to me. Its no different than needing to be careful around Montoya no matter what the circumstances are.

-Ed-

PS Happy 40th Birthday Jeff Gordon!

Ya just had to say that, dint ya? :icon_lol:

God, can you believe that? Jeff Gordon is 40 years old! Man, I have become a real OLD man!

It makes me feel old Ed just remembering the Burton Brothers racing go-carts!

Caz

Hey All,

So what?

-Ed-

LoL!
Harvick is distracted - that's the deal no matter how much you try to sugar coat it....his eyes are no longer on the prize. And this benefits everyone, not just Kyle ;)

And I understand you having a bad day....First Jimmie moves down on Kurt and now this.....Don't worry....It will be okay :)

Nice job P!!! You get the instigator award for the weekend. :salute:

Now to the serious stuff. Harvick is not distracted, just temperamental as always.
Jimmie did not go down on Kurt, thats disgusting!!!!

Hehe.

Well, while watching on TV, it did look like Kurt's “rubbin on” the 48 occurred after Jimmie's “road rage” incident of “coming down on” the 22, without bumping into him. But that shot was from long range and directly in front of the two cars. When they showed it from another angle, it wasn't so clear. But, Kurt “saw” the same thing I did, apparently, from where he was sitting... Jimmie does seem to get a bit agitated when people don't just get out of his way and let him pass. :)

Even more entertaining was the radio exchange between Jimmie and Chad: “The car's loose”, “...well, everyone around you also took two tires”, “... do you not want me to tell you what's going on with the car?”, “dude, watch it!” That's funny right there....

Great win by Brad K!

Yes...
On a side note...I'd love to see Kurt & Keselowski in chase - makes you wonder if Ganassi is regretting the decision to dump Dodge in favor of Chevy...

Who could possibly take these bloody Muppets seriously????
"They entered the fracas with an unpleasant history, and they left it yelling and barking like two schoolyard bullies fighting over the girl with the pretty hair at recess."
How true.
:173go1:

P, You act like this is some kind of big deal, 2 drivers yelling at each other after a race. Not even worth a mention really, just deserves a "So What!" LOL Besides Kurt should watch his big mouth, he has to have something to back it up, if he wants to survive. He tried this crap with Jimmy Spencer one time, and it didn't work out so well, LMAO!!!4. Jimmy Spencer versus Kurt Busch -- 2003, Michigan "You could pick several from this pair of hotheads, but the best was at Michigan because much was recorded.According to tapes of radio chatter, Busch intentionally tried to flatten Spencer's bumper several times during the race. Afterward, the in-car camera caught Busch egging Spencer on when Spencer came to discuss the situation.Spencer obliged, giving Busch a bloody nose and chipped tooth with a hard jab through Busch's car window. That earned Spencer a suspension from the following week's race at Bristol. But because NASCAR viewed Busch as the instigator based on the tapes, the 2004 Sprint Cup champion was placed on probation for the rest of the year.Smile; you're on candid camera!More great fights of NASCAR found here too.http://sports.espn.go.com/rpm/nascar/cup/columns/story?columnist=newton_david&id=6296395
