What's your favorite "tail dragger?"

where did you get that livery for the beaver?
please don't say it comes with the package! I've got the stripped down Freight Dogs version...:banghead:

I've been flying Bill Lyons Travel Air a lot lately...

Yep, it came with the DHC-2 stand alone package, but not the Fright Hogs package. The stand alone Beaver comes with a large number of paints, and 4 models (wheels, big-wheels, skis, floaties)

In no particular order:
Schleicher ASW15B by Wolfgang Piper
Aeronca 7BCM Champ by LilSki
ACA Super Deke by Airhead
Piper PA-20 Pacer by Brian Gladden

It's old school for me. The Fokker EV/DVIII. High Torque/Light Weight/and good manueverability. I love the "edge of wreck" feeling you get with it.

Cheers
Randy

Glad to see a few of my birds made it in there...

For me...

Super cub (JC's)
Super Pacer (Mine)
Spartan (Milton)
Beaver (Aerosoft)

Brian

Champ Camp by far, but I've really become attached to Manuele's Ansaldo, best VC flying WW I airplane I have ever flown, easy to see everything.

Caz

Many of them already mentioned. In the freeware plane series I may add few others:

An-2 many models ("bush airliner" :d)
Oliver Fisher's Buecker Jungman
Dornier Do27 (Hannes von der Heide)
Maule M/MT-7-260 (Mikko Maliniemi et.al.)

Pekka

I have to say the Aerosoft Beaver and Milton Shupe's magnificent Beech 18 are my faves.

Bob

Willy, I didn't really make it clear in my posting of this thread but, I was thinking General Aviation single engine aircraft.

From what some of you have posted, I might just have to get the Super Cub....

Randy

As I hardly fly GA I had to think about this.... but just as examples; they are GA, civil and taidraggers ;).

Hi Baron,

Just now realized while reading these posts that there are at least two "Randys" at the Outhouse....Now if I remember correctly, based upon the UK's use of the word "randy", there most likely are a lot more.:costumes:

Randy, Sr. (since I'm 22 years older than you...:costumes: )

Man, All of them Great Planes :applause::applause::applause:all favorites
