Hello,I've successfully installed Prepar3d in Windows 8 but can't find my P3D conf. file so I can apply some FPS Tweaks,Does anyone know where this file is in W8? Thanks

It's in pretty much the same place as you would find the FSX.cfg file:

..\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D

Thank You,But for some reason I cannot find Appdata folder like in Windows7,I thought maybe Windows8 had a different file structure,Thanks for the info,Cheers.

Open Windows Explorer, go into settings, and click unhide on the things you want visible.

You will probably have to have written permission from your parents in order to get permission to do that, knowing Windows mentalities. :S

I make use of Windows Explorer. If you open that got view/Options/Folder Options/view/hidden files and folders and click on Show hidden Folders and Files.

Sorry Bill. You must have been posting while I was writing. My reply was similar to yours but a bit more convoluted.

So it sounds like you found the folders. Very handy. I keep a bare bones FSX install as with addons like A2A Accu Feel you need to edit the P3D dll file. Need to copy the bit from the FSX addon to the P3D dll. Also I found I had to set up my CH controls in FSX and copy the controls stuff across also.
