• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

World Update Australia is out

I have not had any CTD
One thing to watch for per the post # 38 is that the update is fragmented. You need to check in Content Manager/Not Installed [or Uninstalled], for the Australian update. I missed it first cycle.

Thanks for the reply, the update went well, as did the Australia update, but for some bizarre reason the sim stutters like mad. Very strange because prior to the update it was running very well. I'm wondering if uninstalling and then a reinstall will help.

I just ran the update on my rig, and I'm ecstatic to say that for the first time in a LONG time, I had ZERO download loops!!! It's finishing the boot process as I type this, then on to the Marketplace for the rest, and then the Content Manager for any stragglers.

...

Of course the Marketplace update has to be bigger than the core update...

...

At least d/l speeds are halfway decent.

...

Marketplace done, over to the Content Manager. 4+GB??? Oh, wait - most of that is the Cedar Key package. That can wait. I want to get this update done...

...

Start time, 1751, end time, 1829. This was probably the smoothest MS/Asobo update that I've had. I'll get Cedar Key tomorrow.
