• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Just to let you know, in case you didnt, that you can get X-Plane addons at AVSIM's download library.

I had totally forgotten about that. Appears to be a ton of scenery there to download. I am going to have to check that out tonight.

Man, I want to.

Its wierd to see hard 3D work go into a sim. Its like bringing technical drawings to life and getting to fly in it. Putting a plane into the Virtual skies of XP would really be interesting for me. I am a detail nut, so having all the things in the VC in XP would be interesting for me to see how they would display.

I am thinking they do not have a 4MM weld limit distance, which will enable me to make far more detailed parts in the VC's, which FS9 cannot do.
