Yorktown Class Carriers in WWII

My pleasure oldmike! Great that it worked! I had the Yorktown Class add-on several months in the sim but didn't bother to create an AICarriers file, untill I saw your post.

I am interested in carrier-based aviation and battles in the Pacific theater of military operations. I have deep respect for the simple American guys who bore the brunt of the war in this region. In addition, Klaus Nowak's models are excellently made and I wanted to see them in my simulator. Thank you all.

Most excellent! I miss this capability in MSFS 2024! A friend, Harry Balchuesman, who as a young man mustered out of boot camp onto the newly Commissioned Hornet and servers aboard the whole year she was in commission. Saw Doolittle launch his raid, Midway and when she was sunk at Santa Cruise.

Big hello and good health to Harry!
I have FSX and MSFS2004 installed, specifically to have the FS2004 Scenery--Battle Of Midway Carriers scenario (https://www.flightsim.com/files/file/100966-fs2004-scenery-battle-of-midway-carriers/)post-7660-0-74755200-1415216241.jpg
But the Battle of the Coral Sea from MAAM is nowhere to be found. But it would be interesting to install it...

Oldmike...The 'Battle of the Coral Sea' was mentioned on the MAAM site & there was a link that is dead.
'Battle of the Coral Sea' was not a MAAM product & was done by the same guys (Yanco San) that did 'Midway'.

PM me with your email & I will send it to you.

Thank you for the clarification, then I forgot already.
Thank you also for your generous offer1737705586560.gif

Oldmike - how do you get flightsim.com to display in the old, much better IMHO, style and format?

Harry is long gone, he would be probably 103 now? He was a BM1 when I knew him, enjoying the naval reserves, shipboard, the world he loved.

Yesterday I didn't understand, but today I got the meaning of your post - these screenshots are more than ten years old (November 5, 2014):)
