As I know there are a lot of Dutch colleagues here, perhaps this will be of their interest. I have made available my model of the Zever Provincien at

http://simviation.com/simviation/download.php?ID=3156

It includes an ez library to place the ship at wish. The model included is near the Hoek van Holland.

Safe landings

Thanks Jagl04, its a beautiful made model, but the ship can hardly be called a ship anymore...... ;)

Hi Huub. I understand that you like my model, but not the original ship. I use to design frigates, and I have seen several really awful (the Visby and the Daring are not among my favourites). I selected this one as the first for a NATO fleet because I like it. Why do you think it cannot be called a boat?

It seems I have caused some confusion with my statement :costumes:

jagl40 is right, I do like his model and really appreciate he has done this model. However I don't like the look of these stealth ships. Personally I think they look like damaged shoe boxes ;)

For me the real "Zeven Provincieën" was the ship below :kilroy: (Notice the number....)

Cheers,
Huub

I like that of the damaged shoe box. And I think also that sail ships are more beautiful than modern frigates but, where can I land a chopper on the San Juan Nepomuceno? They are less likely to be in a flight simulator.
