FS2004 Screenshots Here!!!

Coming soon, I just need to do the paperwork and zip it up. :wiggle:

AS365kit.jpg

An update kit for the Alphasim/Virtavia AS365 Dauphin.
Textures- Darker green upper windows and more visible blurred rotor blades.
The blurred tail fan only has eight blades instead of eleven. It looks great in real time and more blades just adds more problems.

Config file- I've made it more stable when landing but you can still get in trouble if you try to whap it down. I had to spread out the gear a bit, so you may notice some odd dirt clouds near the tires. Blame it on "ground effect". :p Also some changes to the prop-animation-ratio for more modern hardware, plus the new [contact points] data.

You'll need to replace three textures in each texture folder. Start with one texture folder and the same [aircraft.#] entry and see if you like it, first.
The white and yellow line in the pic "floats" a bit. I've added a little "tire sink" so the tires look accurate on the ground.
As always, read the README file. :ernaehrung004:

Update- And, its uploaded. :wiggle:

I see a lot of airlines here lately. Although I prefer to fly single engine aircraft, as I don't consider myself a very talented virtual pilot, I do fly airliners occasionally. But the airliners I fly look quite different.......

Beautiful aircraft, but in most cases you need to be patient, as getting somewhere will take some time......

in the same train of thought, another is Beech 18 revamp by Thomas Wood / CR1-Software, still sold at simshack: https://www.simshack.net/products/beech-18-fsx-fs2004-347 but also (previously) available as freeware from the official (now defunct) CR1-Software website; thankfully web archive managed to save the link: https://web.archive.org/web/20220819234136/http://cr1-software.com/addons/beech-18-revamp/
yet another: Flysimware's 1966 Old School Cessna Skylane 182K available as freeware directly from Flysimware https://flysimware.com/website2019/flysimwares-1966-old-school-skylane-fs9/ and also at simshack https://www.simshack.net/products/free-1966-old-school-cessna-skylane-182k-fs2004-431 but payware at simmarket https://secure.simmarket.com/flysimware-1966-old-school-skylane-cessna-182k-fs2004.phtml

Kicking it old school:

Magpie83.jpg

Magpie 83, 75 SQDN, back when they were based at Williamstown Mil. (YWLM).

This is the Alpha/Virtavia Sabre wearing one of its rare repaints.
I've always wondered why this title didn't get a lot of love from the repainters?
There's a ton of paints out there for Kirk Olsen's F-86. :indecisiveness:

to answer your query, because the freeware gem SectionF8 F86 Sabre: https://sim-outhouse.org/sohforums/threads/freeware-gems.20503/post-224224 garnered most of the attention ;) and per the commentaries - has many bells and whistles uncommon even in the payware of its day - thus a much heralded gem in the community, and with many repaints to boot!

cheers!

Were lucky were spoilt for such great choice when it comes to the F86. I wish we had a proper nice model of the Sabre dog or Avon Sabre though.
