Fly? Of course that's why they call it a flight sim! I must confess, currently I take off, look at the repaints from all side and end the flight again. Most flights don't last longer than 5 minutes.......

The next one I will do is named after my son's latest girlfriend..... Its an easy one, so it should take too much time.

Here is a shot of my 24 Sqn SAAF paint, now with correct colors thanks to major help from Huub Vink on sorting that out. A bit more war weary than previously, though not extensively yet. Huub has also been very gracious in sharing his knowledge and technical support, which I have not applied yet, but will. I still have the two G models to get ready. :)

I also meant to mention, thanks a million to Steve and Huub for sharing these fantastic repaints...I have 'em all installed. Now I just need to find some time to fly - soon!

Me either John in MCX. Not sure if its related to all the custom xml code or not.

I tried both the FS9 models and the FSX "C" model. Neither would open.

I sent the error report off to the author.

They all work fine in FS9 and FSX.

Thanks for the comments. We are cleaning up the remaining bits for the G. A1, and A2 models, carrying over the final tweaks from the recent rounds of adjustments.

Once that is done, I will prepare an open beta for all models in FS9 format, and the "C" model in FSX native format.

Hopefully next week we can have you something to work with.

I will say that not all planned features are yet ready but the planes are whole except for a fuel gauge.

It's a guess is It this hat with the anchor removed and replaced by the wheeled prop insignia of the airforce.

Like in many other countries we didn't have an Air Force in 1940, but military aviation was just a section inside the army. Pilots which escaped to the UK and joined the RAF did wear the standard RAF clothing with label "Holland" at the top of the sleeve.

The Royal Dutch Navy had an aviation section as well and those pilots did wear standard navy uniforms. Many Dutch navy pilots ended in RAF 320 squadron and although they had to wear RAF uniform (the RAF was very strict in this) most kept wearing their Navy caps.

I have to check how this was arranged in the Dutch East Indies, but the service men who escaped to Australia came under command of the RAAF, which was for more relaxed towards "foreign service men". But I think they switched to RAAF uniforms there as well.

I don't have any emblems on stock, but I can draw whatever you like. But let me check the DEI habits first.

Last night too celebrate my finaly getting around too the RAF pilot, I went and painted up a new ride for him.
Early WIP and early in the morning here, so I'm off for some of that sleep thing.
