Hi There, I’m new here to Forum Participation, however I am allready a longtime Member in here at SOH… Just had not the permission to take part in Forum activities somehow…

Quick Question:
Is it allowed here to only post Screenshots, mainly from Addons which we can get here, or are there Screenshots from all Addons (not just Military Stuff) allowed as well? If so, I would love to participate here and post some screenshots here and there…

Welcome to the forum. Odd that you couldn't get into it for a while!

The screenshot thread is certainly not limited to military. Anything is welcome.

Welcome to the forum Airbasil. Only when you are a member+ you can participate in discussions. And this is something which has to be done by an admin manually. So I'm glad someone took this action.

Nice livery on that Airbus A350. Its always nice to see these specials arrive in the flightsims.

And feel free to post any FS2004 screenshot you like to show us.

Cheers,
Huub

I’ve just completed my latest flight, from Mumbai Chatrapati Shivaji to Kuala Lumpur.

All these screenshots are amazing!

FS2004 is one of those great software programs that just doesn't want to quit -- much like Silent Hunter 3 and 4 (same era) -- despite the passage of time.

Just goes to show what good textures and some shaders can do to enhance the old girl!

Saludos!

Indeed, FS2004 / FS9 - The best Sim of all Times, is still very much alive! And will be so for the next decade for sure!

David Molyneaux's gladiator with a Pete Watkins paint over Valletta

View attachment 177124
nicely captured Ian; that would be 'Hope' then of the three gladiators - Charity, Faith, and Hope - the last defense of Malta against the Italian onslaught at the outset of WWII; Watkins' paint is stellar as usual together with Dave Moly's fantastic gladiator, and a rather nice representation of Valletta!

Just because I wanted to know what it could've looked like in my Sim... I did a shot with the very same Aircraft in my Sim :p

I’m missing some Cruise Ships outthere infront of Valetta… and some high priced Megayachts moored inside the harbor…
that would’ve given it a little more life into it…

Why has FlyTampa never set their hands on it and why have they never done a Version for FS2004??
I’m sure that would’ve looked amazing, as they allways did a superbe job with Cities… specially in their Dubai Scenery.

What kind of scenery is the shown Valetta city?

Bernard

This is "Malta_65.zip" if I am not wrong…
However, I only took the City for it, and deleted all the other stuff, and added Daniel Chircop’s Airport Scenery to it, so it remains as realistic as it is today. And maybe (if there are not too much visible clouds) I’ll add some FSET Photoreal to cover the whole Island into Photoreal Terrain which fitts the Airport Grounds…
