FSX Screenshots Here!!

Hi Eric,
Just for information, can you please provide a picture of the 84 with the GA ANG paintscheme?
Another info: SSW F84 replicates the G and later cockpit (for G i intend the "Code" version inside the AFM).
As you probably know, the first versions of the F-84F (25GK,30RE,30GK,35RE,) had the "low tail" configuration. Our model has the "high tail",typical of versions from 35-RE and later.
All the paintschemes I did are for the "high tail" configuration,I do not like to paint something not true. Below an example of the difference between low and high tail.

Sort of generic, but this is mostly what they looked like above with 128th FS. You see the history of this aircraft moving around a bit.

F-84F_51-9520 is a bit more colorful.

Mark V Sunderland RZNAF

A couple of shots of a Sunderland MKV (RNZAF) in the Aleutians.

This is a modified Kristensen Hythe done by myself. The VC and other textures have been upgraded and changed and paints are by Adrian Brausch, Adrian managed to make the turrets to which was pretty clever. As I have now sorted out some copyright issues and other stuff (gauges) it should be uploaded only to SOH in two weeks. Due to the limitations of the original model by JBK some stuff could not be fixed, such as improving the interior and some other minor stuff but the VC is fully functional with pop-up panels used for Flight Engineer, Radio Operator and Navigator, again all based on the real aircraft in the Auckland museum. The cockpit and paints are modelled on and identical to the current surviving Sunderland in the MOT Museum in Auckland NZ. A lot of work went into the air and cfg file and during this process it was discovered that nearly all the published internet data on the Sunderland was incorrect in lots of ways once referenced to a British Air Ministry Manual. It was not possible to model the wartime fuel system but the fuel amounds and load positions are correct. At opertional max weight this aeroplane is heavy and needs nearly two miles of clean water to get airborne. A manual and pilot notes based on real Sunderland pilots recollections and interviews is also included. The TW radial sound set for the O\P&W 1830's works nicely with it.

ATAC is a private American company (Airborne Tactical Advantage Company) that provides contract DACT aggressor aircraft for the US military. They serve as an adjunct to Navy/Marine aggressor squadrons such as VFC-13. They operate Hunters, A-4's and Israeli Kfir C-2 aircraft. All are on the US civil registration, hence the "N number" registration.

Assuming one day they replace the old Kfirs, which date back to the early 80's, the Mirage 2000 is a highly plausible replacement. The skins below represent a likely scheme.

ok,understood what livery you are talking about.
I never did this paint because the only picture i found was the last you posted, with low tail...But with the paintkit provided,is quite simple to paint.
For now,the base pack of the F-84 (that includes original base paintings,Ten packs I&II) is made of 50 liveries, more or less, and for me,right now there is no time to make another add-on pack (even because now I'm quite busy with the SSW Tornado paintings and Dino's 326).
Bye,Ale

OK - you officially have my attention. If you were to give thought to something a scheme like this on the M2000 ...

... I will indeed spontaneously combust with excitement! :)

Though I've so far held off springing for the M2M Mirage ... notwithstanding my fiendish proclivity for deltas ... you're now weakening my resolve ....

Delta, I actually went googling looking for a VFC-13 scheme to emulate, but found that the actual ATAC Kfir schemes look very close to the scheme above. So in the interest of having them look similar, I chose the scheme above.

There is a blue and gray Kfir scheme that would be reasonably easy to do, but its ugly.

Eric

Yes, I've got an ATAC Kfir as the wallpaper on my work pc. Their Hunters are smart too. There's something about the military operated adversary fighters that is just that extra bit more exciting.

Ugly! Stop - that's blashemy! :biggrin-new: She's pretty in blue ...

That said, I agree the blue/grey never captivated me quite as much this, my favourite of the USN/USMC schemes ... has a very "business" look to it ... red Bort numbers, red star on the tail ... adversary perfection personified ...
