I have the usual problem... to many ideas - too little time... maybe late Christmas... at least for testing.
Polar Pioneer semi-submersible rig
Vale Brasil - the currently largest bulk carrier in the world
The "Polar Pioneer"...! A Christmas card of the testing would be perfect..!..![]()

Will you have a version as well that can be placed on location, ballasted down..?
Yes, apart from the version on the Blue Marlin there will be a static version with a somewhat higher level of detail. You might also want the Rowan Gorilla jack-up I did some years ago. It is already available as static but as far as I remember only ss part of a scenery of Abidjan.
I do have the "Rowan Gorilla jack-up". Did you ever do a version with the legs down..?
Do you have any other rigs in process..?
I think you had mentioned a Maersk at one time (I may be wrong)
The Samsung drillships made by Henrik can be found adapted as static models in my temp scenery of them laid up in cold stack at Eleusis bay:

The bgls and their textures are included in this pack. You can place them anywhere if you can use an object placement tool.
The stack is now 5 drillships, still no sign of them being reactivated. A further one will be hot laid up in Brazil soon, to be more ready for action if needed. The cost of reactivating one of them from cold lay up condition is huge so they need a big contract to decide to light them up.
The bulk carriers are gone as rates have slightly increased for them lately and they found work. I have not updated the scenery though.
The UN banned now 4 ships "from entering every single port across the globe, punished for violating sanctions on North Korea."
Interesting story....

Do you already have similar purpose vessels.?
