Global AI Ship Traffic V1 for FSX and P3D News and Support

Impatience is a sin!

I would not call 3 months and asking about a mans work as being impatient.
I thoroughly appreciate Henrik's superlative ships but would have no idea
about how to check his schedule.

Subscribing to the thread...

Really like the idea of AI ships. Got the Haze Gray Studios US Navy AI Traffic package. So hoping for more ships out there...Of course, if the Russian and Chinese and North Korean Navies could be out there in FSX/P3D, cool.

The last two replies in the thread were yours, asking for status updates every time. That's very much impatient.

I am going by December being the last update.
I appreciate your info about Henrik being real world busy, that helps me understand the situation.
Your opinion, not so much.

Peace... Life is already complicated so let's not complicate it further doing our hobby... And yes, I have been extremely busy at work; had to go around the world already three times this year for business purposes - and I spend most of my time in China where sim-outhouse is blocked by authorities. So difficult to communicate and also not much time for the project - especially not for compiling routes which requires that I sit at home and have good time. Modelling is easier because I can do it on the plane to kill time... And I had some time to kill on the plane lately...

and finally to make the British coasts less secure we will add some vikings.... This is the first model from Knud - one of the long-time contributers of textures and sounds to the project. Now please don't tell me it is out of epoke - I have one sailing around close to my home all summer....

I agree on t he amazing work, Henrick, both the ships AND the routes. It really makes a huge, empty, part of the world pop for a low-n-slow driver like me.

Having said all that, is it just me, or do the two crewmen aboard the Viking Dragon look remarkably like zombies? A Zombie Viking. Now THAT's Scary!! :pirate:

Pat☺

After a thousand years on that boat I guess it is natural they look a bit like zombies...

If DaveB was still with us his Royal Navy ships would quickly dispatch those zombies. :biggrin-new: Great work on the ships, Henrik! :applause:

Nice one on the Blue Star Henrik! The Blue Star Delos had a grounding in Ios this summer and many weekends were ruined working on getting it unstuck and towed back safely to Piraeus.

Speaking of ferries, and not wishing to hijack your thread, I would have no objection to share with you the double ended ferries I made for the Rio-Antirio scenery, for you to use them in other routes, either in the Aegean or elsewhere. You can find the models (3 of them) in the scenery installation package, which is here in SOH library. Btw, it's one of your ships passing under the bridge there. ;)

This one will be for him... still early WIP but we will not let the Royal Navy nor Dave's memory down. I had several things planned with him when he passed away.

That would be nice - and what a beautiful screenshot :D

We have more for the Aegean... I like ferries built in long series and with lots liveries... It makes the road to getting rid of the default ferries shorter...

Speaking of Ferries... How about giving the US lakes a bit of action. Default FSX has the Lake Champlain Ferries using default models but as a lifelong Vermonter (who has also ridden on these ships) it would be kinda cool to see appropriate sized ferries on the lake. I'm sure there are plenty or other ferries running on the great lakes as well.

The MV Adirondack is was originally built in 1913 and is still in service. I've ridden this ferry many times.

Here's some links to the Lake Champlain Transportation history page and a google images search.

There were a couple of nice ones in between :D And I have just done a bunch of "loose" cars to add to open ferries...
