First off, let me say that I couldn't build any scenery items for FS9 if I had to but I sure as heck appreciate all those that can !! That disclaimer out of the way.....
I was watching the Military channel the other evening and they were doing one of their "greatest fighter" countdowns and they happened to show a P-51 under some trees with camo netting covering acting as hangar doors. The groundcrew pulled back the netting (just like hangar doors would slide open) to reveal the Mustang in it's "hide".
It struck me that I don't ever recall seeing this type of hangar in FS9 and started wondering how hard it would be to do one of these nature-hangars leading out onto a simple dirt strip; or, if there may be one already out there and I just haven't seen it.
Would this be a difficult build and would anyone have any interest in doing it (assuming it could be done)? It could function equally for Allied or Axis forces (dual-purpose you might say).
Since we have a bevy of talented folks here at the Outhouse, I thought I'd toss the idea out and see what everyone thought. Just asking....:mixedsmi:
