• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Me....before and after losing 75 pounds

As an ex-Carpenter who now sits in front of a computer all day, I know where you're coming from. I need to lose about 8-10 kgs but find it rather hard, without doing what I used to do - constant low level movement . Sat at the same (trim) weight for 30 odd years, then put down the tools and - up she went. I don't do enough weekend work, on our 10 acre property, to do anything like I should be doing - there are only so many posts& fences to put in, gates to swing, trees to plant, prune, cut down, sheds to build, etc.

Well done and keep up the good work.
 
Tim,...I think you hit it on the head. Moderate movement on a daily basis for exercise and eating the right stuff. Plus treating yourself occasionally to what you like.
