OT: What you really look like?

It's OK. Over the years I've flown this thing all over the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Caribean, and Central America. Sometimes it makes me feel like Darth Vader, though.

LOL!

Don't give me a weird look, but I would kill for a job as a RJ driver...however, at least from what I've read from pilots from the US, it's not as good as it sounds.

Me in front of the aircraft I got my complex endorsement in. That was number 12 in types of aircraft flown, I am up to 15 now. The other shot is one of my favorite aircraft to fly, the G58 Baron... it is a BMW, the other fave is the Mooney Acclaim... it is a Porsche.

The CRJ-200 is a dog, I stopped flying it about 5 years ago. The 700 and 900 have the performance, we cruise at .83 mach and can get to FL410 pretty easy.

Yeah, I heard that too. Especially the nonexistant climb rate at high altitudes...

FL 410? On all flights or only longer distance ones?

I'm asking because I want to make my FSX procedures for the CRJ7 a bit more lifelike. Right now, I'm usually picking a cruising altitude of FL320 or FL330 for all my flights (depending on direction), but this is just a guess at a real-life flight plan parameter.

I'd have to get Mrs Willy to take some newer pics but I'd afraid it'd bust her new camera. Here's a couple of old avatar pics, One of me and my feathered buddy Jay and one of me the Memphis Belle. The other pic is of my buddy Sassy (with the yellow collar).

That's so cool, I hope I'm simming at 80 years young! I used to live in Chapel Hill also while going to Alamance Community College. :ernae:

Pshaw now! We gonna be all Tarr-Hell cousins afore it's over. I wuz born, bread, and buttered in Caswell County, NC, bordering both Orange and Alamance Counties to the north. It's how I got the name Caz.

OMG, if the co-pilot is taking the picture...WHO'S flying??

John, it's a wonder Bone is alert and awake, most times they're snoozing while on route! :costumes:

Inside joke Bone, got another friend whose a commercial pilot and he had a photo taken of him all knocked back while the co was handling duties. Both are plastic modeling buddies and we gave Joe quite a time after that photo made the rounds.

All considered, simming is much easier than this....

Well, I got a pretty good 62-YO body from cycling too sblzei, but how did you manage to hold your youthful good looks? I'm so ugly I could put scabs on a dog's arse. :costumes:

What brands and how many cycles do you have? I have one old trusty 1982 Bianchi Novo racing that I have maintained in full Campy equipment and old "strap" pedals for 26 years. I also have a Cannondale R900 Campy road bike and two Cannondale Shimano-equipped mountain bikes.

Nice third photo at the Coppi memorial.

I think it is really great being able to put faces to so many names!

Here is the most recent picture I have of myself, doing a bit of 'research' over the summer...
The person to the right, also my age, was one of the folks responsible for the restoration of the P-51B "Impatient Virgin".
