I was so tempted to comment on this ....

for SUCH A LOOOOOONG TIME!!! HAHAHAHHA!
It is so funny that soooo many of so called "rivet counters" comment on one rivet missing... or the wrong shade of RLM color...
AND NEVER PAY ATTENTION TO THE ONGOING MURDER of the English language...

Indeed... hangers are for clothes and HANGARS are for aircraft... (and when asked how are you? one should say
"VERY WELL"... rather than "I'm good"... to which I always retort.. "OH, I am sure you are a good guy.. but how do you feel?"

Kudos to you... for having the courage the point this out!!! (I never did because I thought it would be taken the wrong way...
my hat is off to you...

WELL !!!!!!!!!! i never.......i was good this morning, now im not very well......even after reading the second post ,i had to go look several times before i got the hanger vs hangar...............:very_drunk:

2nd picture gives a new definition to the term "hangin' out."

ratty, Gaucho are 100% spot on re: the murder of the English language. My personal favorite is the utter, complete and total confusion regarding the use of "its - its' - it's." In fact, the entire fiasco re: the placement of the apostrophe in many words is another case in point. For example, "photo's" instead of "photos." Our hobby we all have in common has to do with "aircraft," not "aircrafts." Churchill said the English language was a noble instrument but it's rapidly acquiring a dulled edge when used by many folks - and you bet, the rivet counters are some of the best examples.

HangAr, is of course French for a Shed, in which old aircraft sheltered.......or were made. I wonder what the Wright Brothers called their shelter?

That TF-9F has to be on the Lex, I'd guess. The air data head is already in the water. Don't lower that elevator!

Well, it was established some years ago that the missing sock was actually the larval form of Man's Friend, the wire coat-hanger (note the 'e').
One of the beauties of the English language is that "slim chance" and "fat chance" mean exactly the same thing - so what chance does anyone outside the UK have, of speaking it 'correct' ? :biggrin-new:

Spelling is another travesty take the word colour, most people spell it as color, which is wrong.
