• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

Haven't had a lot of time to research this - looks East European again.
Tail unit and nacelles certainly don't look American. (Plus the lack of whitewall tyres and gentlemen with knickerbockers and bow ties :icon_lol:)

:icon29: for the Potez- which was supposed to be a night bomber!

I think Lefty has posted a Benes-Mraz Be-252C.

Well it may not be diff-i-cult to you, hotdawg, sittin' there with the answer 'n all, but it sho 'nuff tricky for us ol' boys out here.

Looks like a good ol' Waco that's had a acc-i-dent and had one of them goldurned limey dee Havilland tails grafted on !

You okay Mike? Running a fever maybe? Your speech sounds a bit off.:icon_lol:

I really thought this one would be zapped right away. It does look like a Waco/de Havilland love child but is not related to either.

Not even a shot in the dark?

The cabin biplane is a Avro 641 Commodore of 1934. Interesting that two saw service with the RAF at the start of WWII.

Something more modern perhaps-

I think it could be the P-300RG with the pusher prop and built by Equator Aircraft. I understand in fact the only Poschel to actually get wet feet during trials
