• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

I think this one's been posted - quite a while ago. I remember its lurid colour, more suited to a 2cv or DS - it's the Citroen RE2 Wankel-engined model.

Available with optional automatic transmission and swivelling headlights.....

The Citroen logos kindly left by Wout were the final clincher ! (Sorry about the spelling, chaps, but I can't find the diaeresis for the 'e' in Citroen even on the French keyboard !)

Here's a nippy wee chap..

This one is very obscure. It is from a country which shares a border with France.

And it's not Andorra.

OK, I think I detect white flags on the ramparts, so will reveal that this is the Mulot AM-20, a neat little Belgian number from 1925.

This will not last long in the shark pool.......

You don't necessarily need terra firma to land on, Ferry ! (I think they held the first Schneider Trophy in Monaco.)

Not a racer - trialed by the military. The story of its designer, his exploits and subsequent fate would make a good movie. Continental Europe.

I think fasm is correct on the C6bis. I found it in my archives (after fasm spotted it) as the Cukurs C6bis.

C6 it was - either Irbitis or Cukurs. Herberts Cukurs' story is quite bizzare, culminating in assassination in Argentina by Mossad !

Over to fasm.
