3.2 beer? Dang, tough crowd. I see I will have to track down a copy of Putnam's Canadian aircraft to have full access to the bar.
 
Will someone explain to me what a 3.2 beer is, please ? If that is S.G., it is pretty watery stuff.

Here, 3.8 or so is considered a 'session ale' - the heavy stuff starts at 4.5 - 5.5 or upwards. Session ale is fine for me, but then I really prefer a good traditional cider.

Do they make proper cider in Canada, Rob ??

Meantime, on with Moses' Fairchild/Fokker clone - nothing so far. Markings look French, but that is maybe a red herring......

"Low-point beer, which is often called “three-two beer” or “3 point 2 brew,” is beer that contains 3.2% alcohol by weight.
The term “low-point beer” is unique to the USA, where some states limit the sale of beer, but beers of this type are also available in countries (such as Sweden and Finland) that tax or otherwise regulate beer according to its alcohol content.
The states of Colorado, Kansas, Minnesota, Oklahoma, and Utah permit general establishments such as supermarket chains and convenience stores to sell only low-point beer.<SUP> </SUP>In these states, all alcoholic beverages containing more than 3.2% alcohol by weight must be sold from state-licensed liquor stores. Being in the cicvilized domain of Quebec for the next few days I'm short of reference material, but I'm thinking the Fokker/Fiarchild may not be... something spawned in perhaps the Argentine or Equador? Panagra had lots of bucks and ideas in the 30's.

We have many apples, many ciders.. Quebec ( low-hig-test) BC has an apple industry with commercial ciders.. or you buy imported Strongbow at most pubs

Rob, I did say 'proper cider'. Strongbow is commercial carbonated toilet cleaner which bears as much relation to real cider as Budweiser does to real ale !
Anyway, Kevin, give me a tad longer with the Fairchild/Fokker/Stinson etc etc clone. Today I have been confined to my hammock in the garden. SUMMER HAS HIT SCOTLAND !.

Whilst searching (fruitlessly) for the Hamilton, I came across this little brute, so I'll leave it for someone else !

Re the Hamilton, I looked at the Metalplanes in my archives, but dismissed them because of the corrugated finish, which doesn't show in your pic, also the tail didn't look right. Ah, well......
 
You're on the right track, Togo, but it is another car company, bigger, more famous, and still in business too. (Only just, maybe !)
