I've just had a (very) quick look at the code. Looks like there are 2 gauges controlling the firing (canons.xml and guntest.xml) which could lead to conflicts.
 
Well.. I get guns and nothing else. I don't have that fx file so I guess I'd better download the TP Meatbox. Are you supposed to hear the rounds leaving? Mine leave in silence:dizzy:

I noticed over on Robs site he has a P3D Ver 4 download of the Scimitar available now with wing tanks and nose probe... no use to me at current time but might be of interest to some of you if you have a dual install or have gone over to P3D since advent of version 4.

Every time I have gone to fly this I get an error message which states, "Aircraft model can not be displayed" or something like that. Anyone have any idea regarding what may be causing this issue?
 
Is this fresh from Robs site or have you added any repaints lately, if you have, look over the cfg and check model and texture folders are properly named.

Back to FS after a bit of an absence - this was my first bird to load.

I seem to recall Rob had instructions for an external fuel tank toggle to the left of the pilot somewhere - I can't find the reference to that - maybe I'm confusing that with his Sea Hawk? Basically I'm looking for a with-external-tank configuration, or at best, Matras only.

I've confirmed I'm not using the "clean" model, and I don't have TacPac. Anyone recall if there was some other stores configurations built into the model?

I really hope somebody smarter than me replies... I've been going crazy trying to get the drop tanks to show myself, but with no success...
 
I honestly don't think this model has drop tanks. When viewing the model using ModelConverterX you see no drop tanks. You only see the missiles and rocket pods.
