Ted-

I will fly this one a lot, and so I APPRECIATE your rivet counting. She will be quite something!

Best- C

PS- Did she have "whiskers" in real life?

Looking at cargo doors, there were a few configurations (rivets) that I could do and not sure what model or year made the difference, but did this one.

This thread is very much (for me at least) like spending time in a fine art museum and marveling at the artists skill and ability, not to mention his subject. Then, upon leaving, having the attendant present you with one of the originals, free of charge!:emmersed:

And it is so interesting reading as the master (Ted) learns something new.

Just think what if I had one of those digital drawing pads... drawing freehand instead creating a path with the pen tool. Besides this is much easier than creating those radial sound sets. Anyways looking forward to your adventure on the B-26, should start a new thread.

A real master would have had this done in few hours! :biggrin-new: But really appreciate the vote of confidence. Off to create a few new brushes for those hard spots.

Baby (hotty) said it wasn't shinny enough so... little env boost... just a little. :adoration:

Also corrected that little window. Just a reminder, haven't added the booties as it is required on this aircraft.

Bjoern, If you don't like the progress shots, just ignore the thread.

Woah, easy there...it was meant as a compliment!
Mind you, there are not many occasions to actually count rivets in FSX, so Ted's work is more than welcome for those sleepless nights. :)

...one hundred seventy seven rivets, one hundred seventy eight rivets, one hundred seventy nine rivets, one hundr-.... *zzzZZZzzz*

Tailspin45 (team member) will be at the Flabob DC-3 fly-in May 20-22 and will be bring his camera so will have some nice detailed pics.

I've beveled the black hole in the nacelle. Main focus was on that back panel detail work and lining up those three rows of rivets.
