Monty's C-47 (1948) wip!

Wow, Ted, it's looking fantastic! A truly outstanding job.
I can only hope you will share the final results in a paintkit, if only to force me to revisit all my old paints..

Dave over Pacific Dakota Restorations is looking over it and will advise me on alterations and updates that need to be done.

Model: model.shiny is used.

That is a nightmare. I've still not been able to get it working efficiently.

By the way Ted, this work is absolutely magnificent. I've been watching your progress from afar, and flying the betas.
Your bump work is showing a pure love for detail.

Just wanted to make sure the project is still alive with updates. I don't have a timeline when Manfred will have the next beta or final C-47 is released.

This model was not intended to be detailed like this, but hey... wanted see how far this will go and it's on my free time. The radial soundset was all I'm responsible for. Thanks to Manfred for tweaking model as you can see here. Not possible on the current model.

Ted-

If you decide to grace the paint-kit with your detail, this bit of freeware will again raise the bar for the standard.... absolutely superlative mate. A fitting addition to a splendid development project. The entire team is to be commended, and your work just adds the final piece de resistance to the package.

Better rendition of the nose cone (left side). Bump the brackets (black) and overlapped the top half of the cone over the fuselage. Finish up the right side and that's it for now, until I have more free time.

Hey Jan... wished you still had that Canary Bird still.

Still have that Yellow Peril here, Ted, load it up in Max every once in a while. There's still a chance that the dev that asked for the source file will come up with something...Or i might finish it myself someday..

It's been how many years now, I think I know who the dev is. Haven't seen him here in quite awhile.

Overlapping panels experiment... bumpity bump bump on top of bumps!
