If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Hello gents and ladies. As release nears soon (TM), the team thought, in addition to fumigating your hangars and poring over scrounged reference materials trying to suss out the size of various aircraft parts, you might like to have the chance to RTM. Should give you a better idea about the new features, and a head start on learning her peccadillos.

Thanks for the manual. The photos are really helpful. I have had one question for a long time and seeing the new manual reminded me of it. When do the hydraulic pumps get turned on - before or after engine start? This item was not on the previous checklist and it appears that is not on the new one as well. I have also seen it omitted from copies of real DC-3 checklists, though there is sometimes a reference to checking hydraulic pressure. I know it probably doesn't matter in FSX, but I'd like to follow the correct procedure.

So, the pilot does not turn "on" or "off" the hydraulic system. The pumps work (or should work) whenever the engines are running. One pump provides pressure for the main hydraulic system, and the other for the autopilot.2) Hydraulic System
Hydraulic pressure is supplied by two engine-driven variable displacement pumps. Normal system
pressure is 900 psi. A minimum pressure of 600 psi is needed for successful operation of gear, wing
flaps, and brakes. In case of failure of both engine-driven hydraulic pumps, a hand pump is used to
provide emergency pressure for the hydraulic system, i.e. for lowering flaps, gear extension or braking.

Lovely pics of the VC: thanks for taking some to match the earlier screenshot and photo! I'm afraid that whiskey compass is 0.37mm too high and a sixteenth of an inch too far forward. Kindly ask Jan to start again...![]()
You are right! Three years of development without beta testing! It's a shame.![]()
Another example repaints work on this version...
